5k Fun Run for Cancer Research

The Judgesrun Foundation will host its Tenth Annual Judgesrun 5k Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, June 16th, 2007, at 8:00 a.m.

The race will begin at Highland High School, located at 2100 South 1700 East, and finish at Wasatch Presbyterian Church, located at 1626 South 1700 East. At the conclusion of the race, participants will enjoy a free pancake breakfast and awards ceremony.

This year, the 5K is distinguished as a USATF (U.S.A. Track and Field) sanctioned race. Awards will be given for male and female winners up to 3rd place in eighteen separate divisions, and Mayor Rocky Anderson will serve duties as the “grand marshal.” Expect music, prize drawings, and much, much more!

As with all Judgesrun Foundation events, the 5K raises money for cancer research, in memory of the late Judge Anne Stirba. 100% of the proceeds and race pledges benefit breast cancer research. To find out more about the race or to register as a participant, please visit www.judgesrun.com
