SHIVER ME TIMBERS! SHURTLEFF THROWS A PIRATE PARTY Ahoy! It's time to put the "pARRRty" back in the G.O.P. Admiral "Black Mark" Shurtleff, better known to land-lubbers as Utah's Attorney General, is ordering those who bleed political red and who fly the Republican flag to walk the plank to a pirate party this Friday.

Elected officials, aspiring politicians and party delegates will eat, drink and be merry at a private screening of Pirates of the Caribbean III. "As Jack Sparrow once said, 'Pirate is in yer blood' and here's a chance for Utah Republicans to get their inner pirate out," growled Admiral Shurtleff.

All buccaneers hoping to set sail should look for the Jolly Roger flying over the Jordan Commons Megaplex 17 in Sandy.

Prepare for more eye patches, peg legs and parrots than the Black Pearl. Good booty will be given to the best dressed pirates---young and old. Everyone will also get a chance to talk like a pirate, sing a chantey and get their picture taken with not only the Pirate Admiral and the infamous "long John" Valentine, but also the likes of Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, Elizabeth Swan and Davey Jones!

All scurvy mateys from the media are also welcome to witness all the swashbuckling scallywags.
