He must show america that Mormons don't have horns. I find it funny that we have the Senate majority leader, another high profile Senator, and the most powerfull cabinet member (in terms of funding) all active LDS and this get's little or no positive publicity. Talk about a double standard......

Arrrrr.... The National medica needs to walk the plank

Captain MarkMark E. There are many criteria a nominee may employ for selecting a running mate. To be sure, Romney would have much to offer a Giuliani ticket, but I don't see him as a shoe-in.Scott Hinrichshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11831447472339880148noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21373076.post-81903354644423074322007-04-23T10:58:00.000-06:002007-04-23T10:58:00.000-06:00As a Christian Republican, I for one would not vot...As a Christian Republican, I for one would not vote for a ticket that included Romney, nor do I think he will ever be electable as long as he continues to affirm the bizarre, demonstrably false claims of Joseph Smith and his followers.Jim Sweeneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17237615462861159220noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21373076.post-14758841298122260462007-04-23T08:31:00.000-06:002007-04-23T08:31:00.000-06:00All in all, I think this is a pretty shrewd analys...All in all, I think this is a pretty shrewd analysis.

Living in Utah as a non-Mormon, I can say that people here would be excited enough to see Mitt as VP... and smart enough (and patient enough) to know that 8 years as a solid VP would make him a shoe-in as president afterward.

This means that Guliani would inherit the vast power of Romney's support structure... as well as win over a huge number of socially conservative voters who might otherwise cringe at his presidency.

Excellent call.
